How a project runs

Brief
We write the brief with you, in words, before anything is drawn — what the project has to do, what it cannot cost, and which of the constraints are real.

Concept
Two or three plans carried far enough to be compared honestly: models, sections and material samples, not renders of a decision already taken.

Documentation
The chosen plan resolved down to joinery, light and structure, permits filed and the construction set written — drawings a contractor can price and build from without calling us to interpret them.

Procurement
Furniture, lighting, stone and fittings specified, sourced and ordered by the studio: samples approved, prices negotiated, deliveries timed to the site programme.

Implementation
Contractor questions answered the same day, author’s supervision on site and every decision recorded — until the lighting is tuned after dark and the house is handed over as drawn.
