A 440 m² house in Europe with a double-height hall and a curved stair around a tree
Concept
The visualisations cover the entrance hall and the staircase. The hall rises through two floors, and a curved stair wraps around a tree on a round raised plinth, which makes the planting the centre of the entrance. Tall glazing lights the stair from behind, and the upper landing looks down onto the tree through a glass balustrade.
Pale veined stone floors, light wood panels and cream walls keep the palette quiet. The treads are lit along their edges and the balustrade carries a bronze-toned rail. Glowing spheres sit at the foot of the tree, a cascade of glass pendants hangs in the stair void, and a large round relief above a console closes the view along the hall.

Result
The design resolves the entrance of the house as one double-height space organised around the stair and the tree, in pale stone, light wood, glass and concealed light. The visualisations cover the hall at ground level, the staircase from below and from the upper landing, and the console wall.
