A varenyky restaurant hall in Kyiv in pale brick, black perforated steel and greenery
Concept
The main hall is one open room with the order counter and open kitchen at its head, marked by the illuminated VARYK sign. Small tables line the brick wall with its arched black-framed openings and the tall windows, and a tufted banquette runs along the back wall. Perforated black steel screens divide the zones without walls.
Pale painted brick, a seamless pale floor and exposed white ductwork form a calm base. Dark wood chairs, oak-toned tabletops and black metal carry the contrast, and hanging plants soften the steel canopy over the counter. The counter is clad in pale brick under a light stone top. Linear lights, wire pendants and neon lettering set the lighting.

The design brings the hall under one palette of pale brick, black steel, dark wood and greenery, with the counter and its sign as the focal point and the seating arranged along the walls and windows. The visualisations cover the main hall, the entrance and the order counter with the open kitchen.
