Miami 230 m²
A 230 m² house in Miami, planned around a double-height living room in stone and light oak
Concept
The ground floor is one continuous space. A stair of solid stone blocks rises from the front door to a gallery with a glass balustrade; beneath the gallery a corridor leads into the double-height living room, where glazing fills one wall. The dining table sits under layered pendants, and the kitchen lines an oak wall behind an island.
Travertine-like stone covers the floor, the fireplace wall and the stair, set against light oak panels that run the full height. A relief panel of carved blocks hangs above the gallery, and a looped black pendant drops through the void. Upholstery is cream and cocoa brown; LED lines mark the treads and the ceiling edges.

The design treats the shared floor of the house as one tall, quiet room in stone and oak, with the stair and the gallery as its sculpture. The visualisations cover the entrance and staircase, the corridor under the gallery, the double-height living room with its fireplace wall, the dining area and the kitchen.
